| In 1999 she received her training in the resort town of Glenwood Springs, Colorado where massage and body work have long been a part of mainstream health care and preventative maintenance. Studies include anatomy, physiology, kinesiology under the direction of Dr. Mario Larouch, D.C., M.Ac.O.M. (Doctor of Chiropractic, Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine). Swedish I, II, III, including study of Neuromuscular and Deep Tissue Massage under the direction of Patty Schuneman physical therapist and CMT. Although introduced to many different modalities of the profession, she took more of a traditional view toward her work and so her specialities tend to be more clinical. She did her internship in the Physical Therapy Department of Valley View Hospital and then went on to receive training in trigger point therapy, deep tissue work and muscle release techniques. She is a certified member of one of the most respected bodywork associations in the world, ABMP (Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals). Certified in CPR She is certified in the state of Indiana and registered in the state of Colorado. |
| Dee received her training at Sawyer College, Merrillville, Indiana in 2004. Studies included anatomy, physiology, kinesiology and ethics. She has gone on to further her training in Deep Tissue Massage, Ear Candling and Reflexology. Working in assisted living for twenty-five years has provided her with plenty of experience and understanding for what today's seniors require in bodywork. Her calming, cheerful personality combined with her massage skills and passion for working with the elderly, gives her the edge in providing a gentle, healing touch. She is Certified in CPR, a professional member of ABMP (Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals. She is certified in the state of Indiana. |
